FINAL PROJECT GALLERY

Everyone did  a  great job this semester so I figured we should showcase everyone’s work here. Below you’ll find everyone’s project from this semester.

1. GOING BEHIND THE SCENES
Students looked at the technical wizardry behind filmmaking, looking at movie trailers, MPAA ratings, subbing & dubbing, and even hairstyles. Some films included in the following videos: The Lord of the Rings trilogy, The Big Lebowski, X Men Days of Future Past, Slumdog Millionaire and Rambo.

The supercut is perhaps the clearest way we can show how some tropes, images and characters are constantly recycled by Hollywood. Take a look at the following videos which focus on some of the most egregious clichés in Disney and action/adventure films. Some films included in the following videos: Sleeping Beauty, The Matrix, Saturday Night Fever, Frozen, Bruce Almighty and Good Morning Vietnam.
